Kayo Dot Comes to the VFW!
Legendary New York post-metallers KAYO DOT embark on an Eastern US and Florida Tour this spring in support of their new album 𝐵𝑙𝑎𝑠𝑝ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑦 with their recent massive-sounding lineup featuring two drummers, two guitars, bass, and keys. Anyone who has witnessed the band on their recent fall tour can tell you about the crushing power of the 𝐵𝑙𝑎𝑠𝑝ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑦 live experience, which includes songs spanning the band's entire 16-year history.
Supporting Kayo Dot on this tour will be NYC-based post-industrial metal experimenters Psalm Zero, led by composer Charlie Looker.
Free Soil Union is a proletariat union compromised of teachers, independent contractors, community administrators, union workers and public servants based out of Washington D.C. Tasked to spread accurate information regarding current affairs outside of the traditional – corporate controlled outlets, Free Soil provides documented demonstration in the form of audio/ visual presentation both in media and live events. While explicitly an anti-fascist organization, the group is strictly non partisan and holds no allegiance to any political party agenda.
Luna Honey draws on influences from The Birthday Party, Carla Bozulich, Nico, Swans, and Dead Can Dance to combine murky bass grooves with haunting vocals for a sound that ranges from darkly hypnotic to an unmoored fervor.
